Government of Pakistan Ministry of Finance & Economic Affairs Islamabad 18th April, 1998 **** NOTIFICATION (Central Excise) S.R.O.413(I)/98.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.455(I)/96, dated the 13th June, 1996, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table,- (a) in column (1) under the heading "Wire and cable" for heading numbers 7408.0000 and 7605.0000 and the entries relating thereto in columns (3) and (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "7408.0000 (i) If used in the further Nil. Manufacture of wire of same heading 7408.0000 subjected to duties of excise provided that the provision of Chapter X of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, are followed or supplied against international tenders subject to fulfillment of conditions laid down in Notification No.S.R.O.798(I)/90 dated the 30th July, 1990 (ii) If used in the manufacture Nil. of stranded wire, cables, plaited bands and the like, of copper, not electrically insulated of heading 7413.0000 subjected to duties of excise provided that the provisions of Chapter X of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, are followed or supplied against international tenders subject to fulfillment of conditions laid down in Notification No. S.R.O.798(I)/90 dated the 30th July, 1990 (iii) If used in the manufacture Nil. Of ename11ed copper wire of heading 8544.1100 subjected to duties of excise provided in Notification No.S.R.O.798(I).90, 7312.1000 If used in the manufacture of Nil. Stranded wire, cables, plaited bands and the like aluminum, not electrically insulated of
