NOTIFICATION (Central Excise) S.R.O.118(I)/98.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), read with section 4(2) thereof, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.456(I)/96, dated the 13th June, 1996, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, in column (1),-- (1) after heading 7311.0000 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3), the following new headings and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) shall be inserted, namely:- “7312.1000 Stranded wire, ropes Ten per cent and covers ad val. 7312.9090 Other Ten per cent ad val. 7408.0000 Copper wire Ten per cent ad val. 7413.0000 Stranded wire, cables, plaited Ten per cent bands and the like, of copper, ad val. Not electrically insulated (2) after heading 7613 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3), the following new heading and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) shall be inserted, namely:- “7614.0000 Stranded wire, cables, plaited Ten per cent bands and the like, of ad val.”. insulated [C.No.1(22)-CEB/96] (M.
