S.R.O.983 (I)/99. - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause ( c ) of section
21 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and sub-section (5) of section 13 of the Sales
Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following amendment
shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 882(I)/80 dated the 23rd August 1980,
namely:
In the aforesaid Notification,
(a) the words, brackets, figures and commas “and sub-section (2A) of
section 37 of the Sales Tax Act, 1951, (III of 1951). “shall be
omitted; and
(b) the words “and sales tax” shall be omitted;
