GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTICS AND REVENUE REVENUE DIVISION ***** Islamabad, the 30th August, 1999 NOTIFICATION CUSTOMS *** S.R.O.978 (I)/99. - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and sub-section (5) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O 236(I)/98 dated the 04th April, 1998, namely: - In the aforesaid Notification, (i) in the preamble,- (a) the words, brackets, figures and commas “and clause (a) of sub- section (2) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, “shall be omitted; and (b) the words and comma “and sales tax, “shall be omitted; (ii) in conditions,- (a) in condition (4), the words “and sales tax” shall be omitted; and (b) in condition (8), the words “and sales tax” occurring twice shall be omitted; and (iii) in the indemnity bond,- (a) in second paragraph, the words “and sales tax” shall be omitted; and (b) in fourth paragraph, the words “and taxes” shall be omitted. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [C.No.6 (22)/99-CB] (M.
