S.R.O.982 (I)/99. - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the
Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and sub-section (5) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act,
1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments
shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 825(I)/98 dated the 22nd June 1998, namely:
In the aforesaid Notification, in the preamble,
(a) the words, brackets, figures and commas “and clause (a) of sub-
section (2) of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, “shall be omitted; and
(b) the words “and from payment of sales tax” shall be omitted;
