NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)
S.R.O. 968 (I)/2007.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 181 of the
Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that
the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.487(I)/2007,
dated the 9th June, 2007, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in proviso, at the end, for the full stop, at the end, a
colon shall be substituted and thereafter the following new proviso shall be added,
namely:-
“Provided further that 108 smuggled trucks and chassis thereof
seized or voluntarily surrendered to Collectorate of Customs, Quetta, up to
31st March, 2007, shall be released on payment of duty, taxes and 30%
redemption fine, if cleared up to 10th October, 2007.”
