EXEMPTION FROM CUSTOMS DUTIES AND SALES TAX ON RAW MATERIALS IMPORTED BY THE RECOGNISED ORTHOPAEDIC WORKSHOP FOR MANUFACTURE OF ARTIFICIAL PARTS OF HUMAN BODY
Notification No. S.R.O. 704(I)/80, dated 26th June, 1980.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and sub-section (2) of section 7 of the Sales Tax Act, 1951 (III of 1951), and in supersession of this Ministry's Notification No. S.R.O. 826(I)/78, dated the 29th June, 1978, the Federal Government is pleased to exempt the raw materials imported by the recognised orthopaedic workshop for the manufacture of artificial parts of human body from whole of the customs-duties and sales tax chargeable thereon.
