NOTIFICATION (Central Excise) S.R.O.507(I)/2001.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that in its Notification No.S.R.O.456(I)/96, dated the 13th June, 1996, the following further amendments shall be made and shall be deemed to have been so made on the 18th June, 2001, namely:- In the aforesaid notification, in the Table, in column (1),-- (1) after heading number 2803.0000 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) the following new heading number and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:- “2909.1910 Methyl tertiary butyle ether (mtbe) Eighty eight paisa per litre.”; and (2) after heading number 3814.0000 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) the following new heading number and entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:- “3907.6000 Polyester chips excluding polyester Five per cent chips of bottle grade and yarn grade ad val.”.
