NOTIFICATION (Central Excise) S.R.O.386(I)/2001.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O. 574(I)/98, dated the 12th June, 1998, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification,-- (1) in the Table, in column (1), after heading number 2402.0000, the following new heading numbers and the entries relating thereto in column (2) shall be added, namely:- “3303.0000 Perfumes and toilet waters. 3304.0000 Beauty or make-up preparations and preparations for the care of the skin (other than medicaments), including sunscreen or sun tan preparations; manicure or pedicure preparations. 3305.0000 Preparations for use on the hair excluding herbal hair oil and kali mehndi. 3307.0000 Pre-shave, shaving or after-shave preparations, personal deodorants, bath preparations, depilatories and other perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations, not elsewhere specified or included; prepared room deodorisers, whether or not perfumed or having disinfectant properties.”; and (2) after the Table, the following paragraph shall be added, namely:- “2. The duty of excise on items specified in the Table on entering the tariff area shall be collected in the manner as prescribed by the Central Board of Revenue.”.
