NOTIFICATION (Central Excise) S.R.O.501(I)/2001.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that in its Notification No.S.R.O.456(I)/96, dated the 13th June, 1996, the following further amendments shall be made and shall be deemed to have been so made on the 18th June, 2001, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, in column (1),-- (1) against heading number 5402.0000, in column (2), after the word “yarn” the words “and polypropylene strips or the like” shall be inserted; (2) against heading number 5403.0000, in column (2), after the word “decitex” the words “excluding polypropylene strips or the like” shall be added; (3) against heading number 5404.0000, in column (2), after the word “yarn” the words “and polypropylene strips or the like” shall be inserted; (4) against heading number 5405.0000, in column (2), after the word “yarn” the words “and polypropylene strips or the like” shall be inserted; and (5) against heading number 5406.0000, in column (2), after the word “yarn” the words “and polypropylene strips or the like” shall be inserted; and [C.No.1(1)CEB/2001] (Sayed Mohsin Asad) Additional Secretary
