NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)
S.R.O.660(I)/2006.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3)
of section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to
direct in its Notification No.S.O.R. 492(I)/2006, dated the 26th May, 2006, the following
arrangement shall be made and shall be deemed to have been so made on the 19th May, 2006,
namely:-
“Provided that all contracts made by Pakistani exporters upto 19th May, 2006,
for re-export of certain quantity of yellow peas (split) made from imported yellow
peas (whole) shall be honoured and all such consignments shall be allowed re-export
without regulatory duty. The exporters shall establish their commitments by
furnishing a copy of firm contract and letter of credit or proof of advance payment
or any other similar document and connected import documents to the satisfaction
of the Collector concerned”.
