(SALES TAX)
S.R.O. 740(I)/2008.⎯In exercise of the powers conferred by the second
proviso to sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal
Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that in its Notification No. S.R.O.
1211(I)/2006 dated the 4th December, 2006, the following amendments shall be
made and shall be deemed to have been so made on the 1st July 2007,
namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table,-
(1) in column (2), after the word “Rod”, wherever occurring, the words “or
Wire” shall be inserted; and
(2) in column (4),-
(a) against serial No. 1 in column (1), for the figure “6.46”,
the figure “9.86” shall be substituted;
(b) against serial No. 2 in column (1), for the figure “5.12”,
the figure “7.39” shall be substituted;
(c) against serial No. 3 in column (1), for the figure “4.74”,
the figure “8.39” shall be substituted; and
(d) against serial No. 4 in column (1), for the figure “4.11”,
the figure “6.32” shall be substituted;
