EXEMPTION FROM CUSTOMS DUTY AND SALES TAX ON IMPORT OF ARMS AMMUNITION AND TRANSPORT AND WIRELESS EQUIPMENTS IMPORTED FOR F.I.A. 90Notification No. S.R.O. 536(I)/84, dated 14th June, 1984.--In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and section 7 of the Sales Tax Act, 1951 (III of 1951), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt from the whole of the customs-duties and sales tax respectively leviable thereon under the said Act, such of the arms ammunition and transport for the Intelligence Bureau, Federal Investigation Agency, Police and other Civil Armed Forces in respect of which the Director-General, Intelligence Bureau, Director, Federal Investigation Agency, Secretary or Additional Secretary, of the Division concerned, Government of Pakistan, or Home Secretary to the Government of the Province concerned respectively certifies that,-- they are intended to be used for official purposes only; and they would not be otherwise disposed of without the prior approval of the Federal Government. 90.
