EXEMPTION FROM CUSTOMS DUTY AND SALES TAX ON IMPORT OF CERTAIN GOODS IF IMPORTED FOR PROMOTION OF BEE FARMING BY CERTAIN BODIES 88Nottication No. S.R.O. 509(I)/84, dated 14th June, 1984.--In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Sales Tax Act, 1951 (III of 1951), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt, on and from the day of issue of this Notification, from payment of the whole customs-duties and sales tax leviable on the goods specified in the table below if imported by the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, 89[a Department of a Provincial Government] or any other organisation or individual authorised by any of them for promotion of bee-farming:- S. NO. | Description 1 | Honey bees (Apis mellifera). 2 | Machines for forming wax into comb foundations. 3 | Honey presses. 4 | Pollen traps. 5 | Nursery cages. 6 | Electric uncapping machines. 7 | Queen Protectors.. 8 | Honey hydrometers. 9 | Bee escapes. 10 | Queen excluders. 11 | Queen catchers 12 | Honey extractors and clarifiers. 13 | Grafting needles and punches. 14 | Honey processing equipment. 15 | Honey grading glasses and fund scales. 16 | Folbex VA (Chemical for the control of diseases). 17 | Fumagillin or Fumidil-B. 18 | Frow mixture. 19 | Saprol oil. 20 | Bee sting antidolte. 21 | Liquid or powder sprayers or smoking out apparatus. 22 | Hot water baths for remelting honey combs including those with pressing screws. **** Also reported as PTCL 1984 St. 460(ii).
