EXEMPTION FROM SALES TAX ON CERTAIN GOODS MANUFACTURED IN PAKISTAN FOR FIVE YEARS
15Notification No. S.R.O. 486(I)/85, dated 23rd May, 1985.--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of section 7 of the Sales Tax Act, 1951, (III of 1951), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt lime falling under heading No. 25.22, calcium carbonate and calcium bicarbonate coated falling under heading No. 28.42, calcium vinofil and calcium carbonate coated falling under heading No.39.19 of the First Schedule to the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), 16[as it was in force immediately before the 26th June, 1988], manufactured in Pakistan from the tax payable under the said Act for a period of five years.
