NOTIFICATION
(SALES TAX)
S.R.O. 1318 (I)/98.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of
section 11 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, read with section 36 thereof, the Central Board of Revenue
is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O.
555(I)/96, dated the 1st July, 1996, namely:-
(i) In the afore-said Notification, in the table.-
(i) Against serial No. 2 in column (1), in column (3) for the letters and figure
“Rs. 1,00,000” the words “five hundred thousand rupees” shall be
substituted; and
(ii) Against serial No. 3 in column (1), in column (3), for the letters and figure
“Rs. 4,00,000” the words “one million rupees” shall be substituted.
2. This notification shall take effect from the first day of December, 1998.
