Government of Pakistan Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs and Revenue Division Islamabad, the 10th February, 1999 NOTIFICATION (Central Excise) S.R.O.82 (I)/99. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its notification No.S.R.O.455 (I)/96, dated 13th June, 1996, namely:- In the aforesaid notification, in the Table, in column (1), against item relating to “Cigars, cheroots, cigarillos and cigarettes”, in column (3), in clause (v), for sub-clause (b) and the entries relating thereto in column (4) the following shall be substituted, namely: - “(b) If not covered by (a) above: (i) If the retail price does One rupee and not exceed three rupees and fifty-eight Seventy-one paisa per 10 paisa per 10 cigarettes cigarettes.
