NOTIFICATION
CUSTOMS
S.R.O.973(I)/99.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the
Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and sub-section (5) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act,
1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments
shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O 499(I)/95, dated the 14th June, 1995, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification,
(i) in the preamble,-
(a) the words, brackets, figures and commas “and sub-section (1) of
section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, “shall be omitted; and
(b) the words “and sales tax” shall be omitted; and
(ii) in the conditions.-
(a) in condition (viii) the words “and taxes” shall be omitted’
(b) in condition (ix) the words “or sales tax” shall be omitted; and
(c) in conditions (x) the words “and sales tax” shall be omitted.
