35% Regulatory duty on export of Pulses

NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS) S.R.O.492(I)/2006.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section (3) of the section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that a regulatory duty at the rate of thirty-five per cent ad-valorem shall be levied on export of pulses classifiable under PCT heading No.0713: 1[Provided that all contracts made by Pakistani exporters upto 19th May, 2006, for re-export of a certain quantity of yellow peas (split) made from imported yellow peas (whole) shall be honoured and all such consignments shall be allowed re-export without regulatory duty. The exporters shall establish their commitments by furnishing a copy of firm contract and letter of credit or proof of advance payment or any other similar document and connected import documents to the satisfaction of the Collector concerned.] 2.
