Amendment in SRO 693(I)/2006

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND REVENUE (REVENUE DIVISION) ***** NOTIFICATION Islamabad, the 12th December, 2022. S.R.O. 2242(1)12022. - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (5) of section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.0 693(1)/2006, dated the 1" day of July, 2006, namely: - In the aforesaid Notification, - (1) in Appendix-I, in the first column, - against PCT heading 4008.1110, in the second column, for entries (1) and (3), the following shall be substituted, respectively:- "(I) Weather strips for doors, glass and luggage compartments for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub - heading 8703.2113, 8703.2195, 8703.2240 and 8704.3130 except weather strip moulding (inner or outer) for glass; (3) Weather strips for doors and glass for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.3190"; against PCT heading 4008.1910, in the second column, for entries (1) and (3), the following shall be substituted, respectively: - "(1) Weather strips for doors, glass and luggage compartments for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub - heading 8703.2113, 8703.2195, 8703.2240 and 8704.3130 except weather strip moulding (inner or outer) for glass; (3) Weather strips for doors and glass for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.3190"; against PCT heading 4008.2110, in the second column, for entries (1) and (3), the following shall be substituted, respectively:- (1) Weather strip for doors, glass and luggage compartments for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub - heading 8703.2113, 8703.2195, 8703.2240 and 8704.3130 except weather strip moulding (inner or outer) for glass;

(3) Weather strips for doors and glass for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.3190"; against PCT heading 4008.2910, in the second column, for entries (1) and (3), the following shall be substituted, respectively: - "(1) Weather strips for doors, glass and luggage compartments for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub - heading 8703.2113, 8703.2195, 8703.2240 and 8704.3130 except weather strip moulding (inner or outer) for glass; (3) Weather strips for doors and glass for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.3190"; against PCT heading 4009.1120, in the second column, for entries (1) and (2), the following shall be substituted, respectively: - "(1) Water and Air Cleaner hoses of a kind used for engine cooling system and heater for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub - heading 8703.2260, 8703.2313, 8703.2323 and 8703.3223; (2) Hose side demister for motor cars of heading 87.03"; U) against PCT heading 4009.2120, in the second column, for entries (1) and (2), the following shall be substituted, respectively:- "(1) Water and Air Cleaner hoses of a kind used for engine cooling system and heater for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub- heading 8703.2260, 8703.2313, 8703.2323 and 8703.3223; (2) Hose side demister for motor cars of heading 87.03"; against PCT heading 4009.3120, in the second column, for entries (1) and (2), the following shall be substituted, respectively:- "(1) Water and Air Cleaner hoses of a kind used for engine cooling system /heater for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub- heading 8703.2260, 8703.2313, 8703.2323 and 8703.3223; (2) Hose side demister for motor cars of heading 87.03"; against PCT heading 4009.4120, in the second column, for entries (1) and (2), the following shall be substituted, respectively:- (1) Water and Air Cleaner hoses of a kind used for engine cooling system and heater for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub- heading 8703.2260, 8703.2313, 8703.2323 and 8703.3223;

(2) Hose side demister for motor cars of heading 87.03"; (i) against PCT heading 4016.9930, in the second column, for entries (5) and (7), the following shall be substituted, respectively: - "(5) Rubber cushions for bonnet, rubber drain plug, hole covers and pads or cushions for absorbing shock / noise in struts / suspensions, for vehicles of heading 87.03; (7) Runs for glasses for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub-headings 8703.2193, 8704.2190 and 8704.3190"; W against PCT heading 4821.1010, in the second column, for existing entry, the following shall be substituted: - "- - - Paper graphics of a kind used for decoration for vehicles of heading 87.03 and 87.11"; (k) after PCT heading 7007.1111 and entries relating thereto in the second column, the following new PCT heading "7007.1119", and entries relating thereto in second column, shall be inserted, namely:- "7007.1119 - - - - (1) Wind Screen, rear and window glasses for vehicles of heading 87.04; (2) Glasses for doors, glass plain, glass window (sliding), glass for rear door, glass for rear quarter window and glass for wind screen for vehicles of heading 87.03"; after PCT heading 7007.2111 and entries relating thereto in the second column, the following new PCT heading "7007.2119", and entries relating thereto in second column, shall be inserted, namely: "7007.2119 - - - - (1) Wind Screen, rear and window glasses for vehicles of heading 87.04. (2) Glasses for doors, glass plain, glass window (sliding), glass for rear door, glass for rear quarter window and glass for wind screen for vehicles of heading 87.03"; (m) against PCT heading 8302.3010, in the second column, for entries (1), (3) and (4), the following shall be substituted, respectively, - "- - - (1) Latch assembly for hood/doors (manual type) of a kind used in vehicles for doors, luggage compartment lid and bonnet, for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of

sub-heading 8703.2113, 8703.2195, 8703.2240 (except back door latches), 8704.2190, 8704.3130 and 8704.3190; Strikers for latches for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub-heading 8703.2260, 8703.2313, 8703.2323, 8703.3223, 8704.2190 and 8704.3190; Window opening mechanism, rack and pinion type for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub-headings 8704.2190, 8704.3130 and 8704.3190"; against PCT heading 8421.3110, in the second column, for the existing entry, the following shall be substituted, - "- - - For motor cars of heading 87.03 (excluding wet type), vehicles of sub-headings 8704.2190, 8704.3130, 8704.3150, 8704.3190 and vehicles of heading 87.11 (other than foam type)"; against PCT heading 8512.4010, in the second column, for entry (2), the following shall be substituted, - "(2) Link assembly for wiper arm and blade for motor cars of heading 87.03 and vehicles of sub-headings 8704.3130 and 8704.3190"; (P) after PCT heading 8512.9010 and entries relating thereto in the second column, the following new PCT headings and entries relating thereto in the second column, shall be inserted:- "8518.2100 Single loudspeaker, mounted in their enclosure for vehicles of heading 87.03 and 87.04 8518.2200 - - Multiple loudspeakers, mounted in the same enclosure for vehicles of heading 87.03 and 87.04 8518.2910 - - - Loudspeakers, without housing, having a frequency range of 300 Hz to 3.4 KHz with diameter of not exceeding 50mm, for telecommunication use for vehicles of heading 87.03. and 87.04"; against PCT heading 8708.1020, in the second column, for entry (3), the following shall be substituted: - "(3) Front and rear bumpers and parts thereof for vehicles of subheading 8703.2260, 8703.2313, 8703.2323 and 8703.3223"; against PCT heading 8708.2931, in the second column, under entry (A), for entries No. (13) and (70), the following shall respectively be substituted: - "03) Cover Fuel pipe;

(70) Reinforcement radiator grill"; (s) against PCT heading 8708.9930, in the second column, under entry (A), for entries (5), (7), (22) and (23), the following shall respectively be substituted: - "(5) Bracket for jacking; (7) Bracket front seat inside; Fuel tube protectors; Gear shift control rods or transmission cables (manualtype)"; and (t) against PCT heading 8714.1020, in the second column, for entries (34) and (35), the following shall be substituted, respectively; "(34) Parts for rear shock absorber assembly other than bushes, collars, stoppers, valves, guides, rings, pistons, springs, plates and spacers; (35) Parts of front fork assembly other than inner tubes, guides, races, ball assembly, seals, brackets, valves, oil locks, rings, pistons, stoppers, collars, front fork springs, plugs and bridges for forks"; and (2) In Appendix-II, in the first column, - after PCT heading 4821.1020 and entries relating thereto in second column, the following new PCT headings and entries relating thereto in second column, shall be inserted namely: - "7007.1119 - - - - Wind Screen, rear, window and other glasses for vehicles of heading 87.04 7007.2119 - - - - (1) Wind Screen, rear and window glasses for vehicles of heading 87.04"; against PCT heading 8708.2911, in the second column, under entry (A), after Sr. No. (15), the following new Sr. No. (16), shall be added namely: - "(16) Lever Anchor"; against PCT heading 8708.2942, in the second column,- (I) for entry (B), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(B) Following components for vehicles of sub - heading 8704.2299 and 8704.6030"; and after Sr. No. (18) under the said entry (B), substituted as aforesaid, the following new Sr. No. (19), shall be
