Amendment in S.R.O 966(I)/2022 dated 30.06.2022 (RD)

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, AND REVENUE (REVENUE DIVISION) *** NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS) Islamabad, the 24th October, 2022. exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section S.R.O. t cAE 3 (1)/2022.- In 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 966(0/2022, dated the 301h day of June, 2022, namely: - In the aforesaid Notification, in paragraph 2, - in clause (m), the word "and", occurring at the end shall be omitted; and (0 in clause (n), both full stop at the end a semi colon and the word "and", shall be (ii) substituted and thereafter the following new clause (o) shall be added, namely: - vide "(o) stuck-up consignments of previously banned items notified Notification No. S.R.O. 598(1)/2022, dated the 19th day of May, 2022 of Ministry of Commerce where goods declarations have been filed on or after the 22nd day of August, 2022 and where the surcharge calculated as per Office Memoranda, dated the 22' day of July, 2022, the 19th day of day of August, 2022 issued by Ministry of August 2022 and the 23rd Commerce is higher than the cumulative revenue impact of regulatory vide Notifications No. S.R.O. duty and additional customs duty as levied 1571(1)/2022 and No. S.R.O. 15720)/2022, both dated the 22nd day of August, 2022, respectively.". fC.
