S.R.O. (1)12022.- In exercise of the power conferred by section 19 of the Customs .Act,
1969 (IV of 1969). the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further
amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 656(1)/2006, dated the 22" day of June,
2006, namely: -
In the aforesaid Notification, -
in paragraph (2A), for the full stop at the end a colon shall he substituted and
thereafter the following proviso shall be added, namely: -
"Provided that in line with Auto Industry Development and Export Policy
(AIDEP) 2021-26 approved by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC)
of the Cabinet's decision in case No. ECC-442/43/2021 dated 16.12.2021 and
ratified by the Cabinet in case No. 1237/42/2021 dated 21.12.2021 regarding
export promotion, the benefit of Notification No. S.R.0 656(1)/2006 dated
22.06.2006 shall be admissible subject to fulfilment of conditions as laid down
in Notification No. S.R.0 8(1)/2021-LED-II dated 01.03.2022 issued by the
Ministry of Industries and Production, Islamabad,";
in Table-1, -
(a) after Serial No. 6(a), in column (1). the follnwing new Serial No. 6(al
and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be inserted,
namely. -
"6(al) Cars of PCT heading (i) components 30% but 15%
