Amendment in SRO 656(I)/2006

Government of Pakistan Ministry of Finance & Revenue (Revenue Division) ***** NOTIFICATION Islamabad, the 4M1 January. 2023. (Pt S.R.O. (1)/2023.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 656(1)/2006, dated 22.06.2006, namely: - In the aforesaid Notification, in Table-I, - against serial No. 6(a) in column (1) and entries relating thereto in column (2), (3) and (4), the following shall be substituted, namely; - "Vehicle of PCT (i) components 30% but 15% for heading 87.03 up to for assembly / new make or model 1000cc (excluding manufacture in as certified by EDB specially designed twin any kit form for three years from cabin type taxi PCT the date of issuance heading 8703.3227 and of manufacturing 4-stroke auto Rickshaw certificate or up to of PCT heading 30th Jun.: 2026, 8703.2115) whichever is earlier (ii) Tyres/ Tubes 16%": after S. No. 6(a) in column (1), the S. No. 6(al ) and entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be omitted; against S. No. 6(b) in column (1) and entry relating thereto in column (2), the following shall be substituted, namely,- -Vehicle of PCT heading 87.03 exceeding 1000cc (excluding specially designed twin cabin type taxi PCT heading 8703.3227 and 4-stroke Auto Rickshaw of PCT heading 8703.2115)-: and after S.
