GOVERNEMNT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTICS & REVENUE REVENUE DIVISION NOTIFICATION Islamabad, the 29th December, 1999 CUSTOMS S.R.O.1390(I)/99.- WHEREAS the Governemnt of Pakistan has executed an Implementation Agreement with the Emirate of Abu Dhabi which provides for exemption from the whole of customs-duties on imports made for M/s Pak Arab Refinery Ltd., (PARCO)'s Mid Country Refinery Project (MCRP). AND WHEREAS it is necessary to honour such international obligations; NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that he imports, made on or after 3rd October, 1997, under claim of the benefot of this Ministry's Notifications No. S.R.O.367(I)/94, dated 9th May, 1994 and S.R.O.25(I)/98, dated the 17th January, 1998, by M/s PRCO in respect of the MCRP, shall be exmept from the whole of customs-duites and the condition which excludes the benefit of said notifications to goods which are also locally manufactured. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [C.No.4(10)Mach/96] M.
