MAINTENANCE OF 'REGISTER OF SALE OF GOODS' FOR AVAILING CONCESSION OF CUSTOMS DUTIES AND SALES TAX Notifications No. SRO 433(I)/87, dated the 4th June, 1987.---.In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and section 7of the Sales Tax Act, 1951 (III of 1951), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that with immediate effect, the manufacturers availing the concession of customs duty and sales tax under any of the Notifications mentioned in the Table below shall maintain in the form set-out below a record of sale of the items manufactured under the Notification and shall produce, on demand , such record and other evidence as may be required for inspection by an officer of Customs not below the rank of Assistant Collector authorized by the Collector of Customs in whose jurisdiction the manufacturing unit is located or by any other office authorized by the Central Board of Revenue i this behalf.
