Exemption from Customs Duty and Sales Tax on Equipments Temporarily Imported by Mountaineering Exped

EXEMPTION FROM CUSTOMS DUTY AND SALES TAX ON EQUIPMENTS TEMPORARILY IMPORTED BY MOUNTAINEERING EXPEDITIONS 42Notification No. S.R.O. 364(I)/82, dated 19th April, 1982.-- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969(IV of 1969), and section 7 of the Sales Tax Act, 1951 (III of 1951), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt the equipment temporarily imported by mountaineering expeditions under Notification No. S.R.O. 881(I)/85, dated the 18th September, 1985, from the whole of the Customs-duties and sales tax and donated to the Alpine Club of Pakistan Adventure Foundation (Pakistan), subject to the following conditions, namely:- Secretary, Alpine, Club of Pakistan Adventure Foundation (Pakistan), on receipt of such goods, shall issue a certificate giving the detailed inventory of the donated equipment and material to the donor; Alpine Club of Pakistan, Adventure Foundation (Pakistan), shall deep a proper record of the equipment and material so received and shall allow its use only for mountaineering expeditions; and The equipment and material so received shall not be sold or otherwise disposed of without prior permission of the Central Board of Revenue.
