NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS & SALES TAX) S.R.O. 155(I)/2008.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), sub-sections (3A) and (6) of section 3, clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 8, clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 13 and section 71 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 390(I)/2001, dated the 18th June, 2001, namely:─ In the aforesaid Notification, for clause (vi), the following shall be substituted, namely:- “(vi) the liability to charge, collect and pay the said amount shall be on the cellular company operator and the amount due under this notification in respect of all sets energized or activated in a month shall be deposited by such company along with its monthly return relating to services provided as due in the next month;”.
