GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN CENTRAL BOARD OF REVENUE SALES TAX WING *** Islamabad, the 6th October, 1996 NOTIFICATION (SALES TAX) S.R.O. 1160(I)/96.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 30 and 31 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, and in supersession of its notifications numbering S.R.O. 772(I)/95, dated the 1st August, 1995, and S.R.O. 557(I)/96, dated the 1st July, 1996, the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to appoint-- (i) the officers specified in column (2) of the table below to be the Collector of Sales Tax for the area specified in column(3) thereof; and (ii) Additional Collectors, Cost Accountants, Deputy Collectors, Assistant Collectors, Superintendents, Senior Auditors, Deputy Superintendents and Auditors of Sales Tax in the respective Collectorates to be the officers of sales tax for those areas.
