NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)
S.R.O.804(I)/2006.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
(3) of section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal
Government is pleased to direct that in its Notification No.S.R.O..573(I)/2006
dated 5th June, 2006, the following amendment shall be made and shall be
deemed to have always been so made.
In the aforesaid Notification in paragraph 2, for the full stop at
the end a colon shall be substituted and thereafter the following proviso shall
be added, namely:-
“Provided that export, for which the exporters had firm contracts
or orders in hand on or before the 5th June, 2006 shall not be charged to the
said levy of regulatory duty subject to the condition that eh exporters shall
established their commitments by furnishing a copy of firm contract and letter
of credit or proof of advance payment received up to the 5th June, 2006, to the
satisfaction of Collector concerned.”.
