Amendment in SRO 966(I)2022 - dt 30-06-2022

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND REVENUE (REVENUE DIVISION) ***** NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS) Islamabad, the 27th June, 2023. S.R.O. 775(1)/2023.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 18 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 966(1)/2022, dated the 30th day of June, 2022, namely: - 2. In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, - after S. No.140 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be inserted, namely: - "140A 2849.1000 Calcium (Carbides) 5"; after S. No.168 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be inserted, namely: - "168A 3824.9980 Chloroparaffins liquid 10% till 31s' Dec.,2023 and 5% from 1s' January 2024 to 30th June,2024"; after Sr. No.297 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be inserted, namely: -

"297A 7002.3200 Tubes of other glass having a 10"; linear coefficient of expansion not exceeding 5 x 10-6 per Kelvin within a temperature of 0°C to 300°C against S.No.299, in column (4), for the figure "15", the figure "30", the following shall be substituted; for S.No.300, and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be substituted, namely: - "300 70.06 Glass of heading 70.03, 15 70.04 or 70.05, bent, edge- worked, engraved, drilled, enameled or otherwise worked, but not framed or fitted with other materials (except 7006.0020). 300A 7006.0020 Glass sheet worked 30"; for S.No.306, and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), the following shall be substituted, namely: - "306 70.13 Glassware of a kind used for 20 table, kitchen, toilet, office, indoor decoration or similar purposes (other than that of heading 70.10 or 70.18) (except PCT codes 7013.4900, 7013.9100, 7013.9900). 306A 7013.4900 Other 30 3068 7013.9100 Of lead crystal 30 306C 7013.9900 Other 30"; after S. No.308 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4),(g) the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be inserted, namely: -

"308A 7020.0090 Other 30"; after S.No.492 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be inserted, namely: - "492A 8539.2190 Tungsten filament incandescent 20"; 8539.2200 bulb 8539.2990 after S.No.499 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4), shall be inserted, namely: - "499A 8539.9010 Parts of tungsten filament 20"; 8539.9020 incandescent bulb 8539.9090 in paragraph 2, in clause (g) for the expression "exceeding diameter 75 (i) mm", the expression "of diameter 50mm and exceeding 50mm" shall be substituted; and (k) in paragraph 6, for the figure "2022", the figure "2023" and for the figure "2023" the figure "2024" shall be substituted respectively.". 3.
