Government of Pakistan Ministry of Finance and Revenue (Revenue Division) ***** NOTIFICATION Islamabad, the/OnMarch, 2023 S. R.O. (1)/2023.- WHEREAS the imports into Pakistan from Uzbekistan are made in conformity with the Pakistan-Uzbekistan Preferential Trade Agreement Rules of Origin,2023 as notified by the Ministry of Commerce vide its Notification No. SRO 289(0/23, dated the 611) day of March,2023 under the aforesaid Agreement between the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, read with Import Policy Order as notified by Ministry of Commerce from time to time. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 18C & 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to exempt with effect from the 13th day of March,2023 the import into Pakistan from Uzbekistan of the goods specified in column (3) of the Table below falling under the Headings and sub-headings of the First Schedule to the said Act, as specified in column (2) thereof, to the extent of percentage of exemption from customs day of July, 2021 as specified induty, additional customs duty and regulatory duty, as on the columns (4), (5) and (6) of the said Table, in accordance with the said Agreement: Provided that where the rates of duties for which extent of percentage of exemption as has been specified in columns (4), (5) and (6) of the said Table are higher than the rates as on the Is' day of July, 2021, the extent of percentage of exemption shall, in accordance with the aforesaid Agreement, be applicable on such lowered rates, namely: - Table Extent of percentage of exemption Custom Additional Regulatory Description Duty Customs Duty S.No HS Code (CD) % Duty (RD) % ACD 11/0 (4) (5) 3 100 100 100 (1) Beans of the species Vigna 1 0713.3100 - - mungo(L) Hipper or Vigna radiate (L)Wilczek
