(SALES TAX)
S.R.O. 9 -I- (1)/2021.- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section
(2) of section 13 of the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government, as per its decision contained
in Case No. 1047/51/2020, dated the 29th December, 2020, is pleased to exempt the import of
cryogenic tanks (for oxygen gas) (PCT heading 7311.0030), for medical purposes, from whole of
the sales tax for a period of three months starting from the 29th of December, 2020.
2. The aforesaid exemption shall apply in respect of the letters of credit opened or
goods declaration forms filed on or after the 29th day of December, 2020.
