NOTIFICATION
(SALES TAX & FEDERAL EXCISE)
S.R.O. 872(I)/2007.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 30 and 31 of
the Sales Tax Act, 1990, and section 29 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005, the Central Board of
Revenue is pleased to direct that the following amendments shall be made in its Notification
No. S.R.O.29(I)/2007, dated the 10th January, 2007, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification,-
(a) against S.No.1, in Column (3) the comma and the words “, the
Islamabad Capital Territory and the Northern Areas” shall be omitted;
and
(b) after S.No.3 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) the
following new entry shall be added, namely:-
“4. Regional Tax Office, The areas included in the Islamabad Capital
Islamabad Territory and the Northern Areas.”
