NOTIFICATION Islamabad the 9th April,2025 S8o S.R.O; (I)/2025.- The following draft of certain further amendments in the Inland Revenue Reward Rules, 2021, which the Federal Board of Revenue proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by section 227 A and section 2278 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of 2001), section 72C and 72D of the Sales Tax Act, 1990 (\1I of 1990) and section 42C and 42D of the Federal Excise Act, 2005 and the Islamabad Capital Territory (Tax on Services) Ordinance,200l (XLIX of2001), is hereby published for information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and as required under sub-section (3) ofsection 237 ofthe Income Tax Ordinance, 2001 (XLIX of200l), notice is hereby given that objections or suggestions thereon, if any, may for consideration ofthe Federal Board of Revenue be sent within three days ofpublication ofthis draft notification in this official Gazette. Objections or suggestions received from any person, before the expiry ofthe aforesaid period, shall be taken into consideration by the Board, namely: - DRAFT AMENDMENTS In the aforesaid Rules, in rule 2, - (a) in clause (ii), in sub-clause (c) at the end for full stop the expression ";and" shall be substituted and thereafter the following new clause shatl be added, namely:- "(d) Monetary Reward under FBR Transformation Plan, 2024i'; and (b) after clause (viii), the following new clause (ix) shall be added, namely:- be "(ix) Monetary Reward under FBR Transformation Plan, 2024 shall sanctioned to the Cadre Officers oflnland Revenue Services (BS-17 and above) as per their ranking under the performance management regime as approved in the FBR Transformation Plan, 2024.". 1 6 Gt)lLF.No.4(44)IT-Bud/20 (Muhammad ureshi) Secretary (Income Tax Policy)
