Suspending operations of SRO 2392(I)/2025 dated 08.12.2025 till 31.01.2026 or issuance of a revised SRO

Govemment of Pakistan Revenue Division Federal Board of Revenue Inland Revenue Policy Wing *,1.+** No. 2/15/2024lR&S Islamabad 16.12.2025 NOTIFICATION Whereas, valuation tables were revised for the whole of Pakistan on 29.10.2024 except for District Islamabad, due to a pending FTO complaint. Subsequently, SRO 2392(l)12025 dated 08.12.2025 was notified for the fair market values of immovable properties of Islamabad. However, the Real Estate Associations and others approached FBR to revisit the table as certain areas reflected values which were higher than the actual market values. Whereas, some of the cases were examined and some of the objections raised by the Real Estate Associations were found to be correct. Therefore, it has been decided to re-evaluate the valuation table for District Islamabad. Hence, SRO 2392(I)12025 dated 08.12.2025 is hereby held in abeyance till 31.01.2026 or issuance of a revised SRO notiffing fair market values of immovable properties of Islamabad, whichever is earlier. In the intervening period till 31.01.2026 or issuance of a new SRO for Islamabad whichever is earlier, SRO I 180(I)12022 dated 27.07.2022 as amended by SRO 1610(l)12022 dated 25.08.2022 wlllremain in the field.
