GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN REVENUE DIVISION **** Islamabad, the 27th September, 2001 NOTIFICATION (Central Excise) Temp SRO. No. 9421(I)/2001 S.R.O._____ (I)/2001:- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944(I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 454(I)/96 dated the 13th June, 1996, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, in column(1) (a) after heading number 2710.0082 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3), the following new heading and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) shall be inserted, namely:- “2710.0083 In bulk (vessels, bouzers lorries, etc) Seven rupees and fifteen paisa per litre.”;and (b) after heading number 2710.0092 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3), the following new heading and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) shall be inserted, namely:- “2710.0093 Base lube oil Seven rupees and fifteen paisa per litre. Provided that base lube oil if imported for further use in manufacturing of lubricating oil or grease shall be released without payment of central excise duty against surety to the satisfaction of the Collector or the officer designated by him, equal to the amount of central excise duty assessed, which will be released on submitting of surety and documentary proof of payment of central excise duty paid by the blonders at the time of clearance of such lubricating oil or greasee.” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [C.No.2(5)CEB/99] (Naseer Ahmad) Additional Secretary
