NOTIFICATION
(Central Excise)
S.R.O.866(I)/2001.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.455(I)/96, dated the 13th June, 1996, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, in column (1) against the expression relating to “Wire and cable”, in column (2) against heading number 8544.0000, in column (3), in entry (ii),--
(1) after the word “sets”, occurring for the second time, the commas and words “, if supplied to the recognized manufacturers of automobiles, aircrafts and ships and”; shall be inserted; and
(2) the words “and also that provisions of Chapter X of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, are followed” shall be omitted.
