NOTIFICATION
(Central Excise)
S.R.O. 15(I)/2002.-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.455(I)/96, dated the 13th June, 1996, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, in column (1), against the item relating to “Goods”, in column (3),--
(1) in condition (1) for the figures, comma and word “30th June, 1999”, the figures, comma and word “31st December, 2002” shall be substituted; and
(2) in condition (2),--
(a) for the figures, comma and word “30th June, 1999” the figures, comma and word “31st December, 2002” shall be substituted; and
(3) after the figure “2002”, substituted as aforesaid, a colon shall be added and thereafter the following proviso shall be added, namely:-
“Provided that the conditions regarding commencement of production shall not apply to those cases which are subjudice in the courts of law.”.
