(Central Excise)
S.R.O.415(I)/2002.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Central Excise Rules, 1944, namely:-
In the aforesaid Rules, in rule 224, after sub-rule (1-A), the following new sub-rule shall be inserted, namely:-
“(1-B) The provisions of sub-rule (1) shall not apply to the cement factories.”.
