NOTIFICATION (Central Excise) S.R.O. 341(I)/2000.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 12A of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (I of 1944), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.454(I)/96, dated the 13th June, 1996, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification,-- (1) in the preamble, in clause (ii), the commas, words, brackets and figures “, except those specified in notification No.S.R.O.962(I)/99, dated 26th August, 1999,” shall be omitted: and (2) in the Table, in column (1),-- (i) heading numbers 1701.1100, 1701.1200, 1701.9910, 1701.9920, 2849.1000 and 2915.1100 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) shall be omitted; (ii) against heading number 3305.0000, in column (2), against clause (ii), in column (3) for the word “Twenty” the word “Ten” shall be substituted; (iii) against heading number 3307.0000, in column (2), after the word “properties” the words and figures “excluding Agarbatti of heading number 3307.4100” shall be added; (iv) heading numbers 3808.1010 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) shall be omitted; (v) against heading number 3907.6000, in column (2), after the word “chips” the words “excluding polyester chips of bottle grade and yarn grade” shall be added; and

(vi) heading numbers 3919.1030, 3920.2011, 3920.2012, 3920.2013, 3920.2014, 3920.2019, 4411.2100, 4819.3000, 4819.4000, 5201.0000, 6305.1010, 8507.9010, 9302.0000, 9303.0000, 9304.0000 and 9306.0000 and the entries relating thereto in columns (2) and (3) shall be omitted; ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [C.No.1(1)-CEB/2000] (Sayed Mohsin Asad) Additional Secretary
