NOTIFICATION
(FEDERAL EXCISE)
S.R.O. 163(I)/2010.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section
(2) of section 16 of the Federal Excise Act, 2005, the Federal Government is
pleased to exempt federal excise duty leviable on goods produced or services
rendered in the areas specified in column (2) of the Table below, on and from the
1st January, 2010 to the 30th June, 2010, as is in excess of the rates mentioned in
column (3) of the said Table, namely::-

sugar, beverages and cigarette sectors.
