Temp SRO. No. 9372(I)/2001
S.R.O. (I)/2001:- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 219 of the
Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), read with section 21 thereof, the Central Board of Revenue is
pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in the Temporary Importation
of Motor Vehicles Rules, 1979, namely :-
In the aforesaid Rules, in rule 3A :-
(a) in sub-rule (1), in the first proviso, after the words “ thinks fit”, the words “but
not exceeding three months” shall be inserted; and
(b) in sub-rule (2), in the first proviso, after the words “thinks fit”, the words “but
not exceeding three months”, shall be inserted.
