This SRO amends the Notification No. S.R.O. 554(I)/98, dated the 12th June, 1998

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTIC AND REVENUE ( REVENUE DIVISION ) *** Islamabad, the 12th June, 1999. NOTIFICATION ( CUSTOMS ) S.R.O. 732(I)/99.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Customs (Amendment) Act, 1999 (II of 1999), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 554(I)/98, dated the 12th June, 1998, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification,- i. in the preamble,- (a) after the word "customs-duties" the words, commas, brackets and figures "leviable under the First Schedule to the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969)," shall be inserted; and (b) for the word "Acts" the word "Act" shall be substituted; ii. in the Explanation,- (a) in clause (i) the word "and", at the end, shall be omitted; (b) in clause (ii), for the full stop the semicolon and word "; and" shall be substituted; and (c) after clause (ii), amended as aforesaid, the following new clause shall be added, namely :- "(iii) For the purposes of this notification the expression "not manufactured locally" shall mean the goods which are not included in the list of locally manufactured goods in the General Order issued by the Central Board of Revenue". _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ (C.No.3(2)Mach.Bud./99) ( M.
