GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTIC AND REVENUE ( REVENUE DIVISION ) *** Islamabad, the 12th June, 1999. NOTIFICATION ( CUSTOMS ) S.R.O. 694(I)/99.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 of the Customs (Amendment) Act, 1999 (II of 1999), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 501(I)/94, dated the 9th June, 1994, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification,- (i) in the preamble, after the word "customs- duties", the words "leviable under the First Schedule to the said Act" shall be inserted; (ii) in Table-I, in column (1) for Sr.No. 92 and the entry relating thereto in column (2), the following new serial numbers and entries relating thereto shall be substituted, namely:-" 92. Heat Exchangers. 93. Alcohol Plant, Chemical Plant and Asphalt Mixing Plant. 94. Welded Pipes. 95. Gas engines. 96. Bowsers meant for handling transportation of LPG and other hazardous chemicals upto capacity of 35 tons, refrigerated vehicles and chillers for milk storage.". 97. Any other machinery and equipment approved by the Central Board of Revenue."; (iii) in Explanation.- (a) before the word "Vendors" the brackets and figure "(1)" shall be inserted; and (b) after clause (1), the following new clause shall be added, namely:-" 2. The expression "not manufactured locally" shall mean the goods which are not included in the list of locally manufactured goods, specified in the General Order, issued by the Central Board of Revenue".
