Amending SRO 567(I)/2007

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTICS & REVENUE (REVENUE DIVISION) ***** Islamabad, the 27th June, 2007 NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS) S.R.O. 643 (I)/2007.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.567(I)/2006, dated the 5th June, 2006, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification,- (1) in para 2, for clause (a) the following shall be substituted, namely:- “Ministry of Health, in case of imported goods specified under headings A, B and C of Table III”; (2) in TABLE I,- (i) against serial number 34 in column (1), in column (2) the figure “7326.1920” and the entries relating thereto in columns (3) and (4) shall be omitted; (ii) against serial number 39 in column (1), in columns (3) and (5), for the word “Lories” the word “Lorries” shall be substituted;

(iii) after the serial number 40 in column (1) and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3), (4) & (5), the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto shall be added namely: “40A. 87.01 Vintage Motor Cycles of 5% This facility shall be 500 CC and above which available on the are older than 25 years recommendation/certific ation of Ministry of Sports.”; and (iv) against serial number 44 in column (1), in column (2) after the figure “8701.9020” the figure “8701.9090” shall be added; and (v) after serial number 44 in column (1) and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3), (4) and (5) the following new serial numbers and the entries relating thereto shall be added, namely:- “45. INPUTS OF NEWSPAPER ESTABLISHMENTS 8442.3000 Printing 0% If imported by newspaper 8443.1200 machinery establishments subject to the 8443.3990 and spare following conditions, namely:- 8443.1990 parts (i) the CEO of the importing 8443.9100 thereof establishment shall certify that 8449.3990 imported items are

(a) in entry (i), for the word “momomer” the word “monomer” shall be substituted; and (b) after entry (ii), the following new entry shall be added, namely:- “(iii) Printed Aluminium Foil for Sachet/I.V. Infusion Bag”; (v) the serial numbers 16,21,25,58,59 and 62 in column (1) and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3) and (4) shall be omitted; (vi) against serial number 121 in column (1), in column (3) for the existing entry the following shall be substituted, namely; “Urine Analysis Strips”; and (vii) against serial number 167 in column (1), (a) in column (3), for the existing entry, the following shall be substituted, namely; “Kits for automatic cell separator for collection of platelets”; and (b) in column (4), for the figure “5” the figure “0” shall be substituted.
