NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)
S.R.O. 577(I)/2012.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of
section 18 of the Customs Act,1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to
direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O.
482(I)/2009, dated the 13th June, 2009, namely:-
2. In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table,
a) for serial number 1, and the entries relating thereto in columns (2),
(3) and (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“1. 0802.8000 Areca nuts (Betel 10% ad valorem”
nuts)
b) for serial number 6, and the entries relating thereto in columns (2),
(3) and (4), the following shall be substituted, namely:-
“6. 2403.1100 Water pipe tobacco 15% ad valorem”
specified in
Subheading Note 1 of
Chapter 24 of the First
Schedule to the
Customs Act, 1969
c) after serial number 6 in column (1), and the entries relating thereto
in columns (2), (3) and (4), the following new serial number and the
entries relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:-
“6A. 2403.1900 Other 15% ad valorem”
3. This notification shall take effect from the 2nd day of June, 2012.
