NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS/SALES TAX)
S.R.O. 478(I)/2011. - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19
of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), and clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of
the Sales Tax Act, 1990, the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following
further amendments shall be made in its Notification S.R.O. 678(I)/2004, dated the 7th
August, 2004, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in clause (3), the words, letters, semicolon
and commas “except X-mass trees, well-head and integral components and parts thereof
which shall be exempted from so much of the customs-duty as is in excess of fifteen per
cent ad valorem; imported by E&P Companies their contractors, sub-contractors and
service companies,” shall be omitted.
2. This notification shall take effect from the 4th June, 2011.
