Amendment in S.R.O. 457(I)/2004, dated the 12th June, 2004

GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN MINISTRY OF FINANCE, ECONOMIC AFFAIRS, STATISTICS AND REVENUE (REVENUE DIVISION) *** Islamabad, the 3rd May, 2005. NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS) S.R.O.365 (I)/2005. - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 19 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Government is pleased to direct that the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O. 457(I)/2004, dated the 12th June, 2004, namely: - In the aforesaid Notification, in the Table, after Sr. No. 135, in column (1) and the entries relating thereto in columns (2), (3), (4) and (5), the following new serial number and the entries relating thereto shall be added, namely:- “136. | Proprietary Formwork System for building/structures of a height of 100 ft and above and its various items/ components consisting of the following, namely:- (i) Plastic tube. (ii) Plastic tie slot filters/plugs, plastic cone. (iii) Standard steel ply panels, Special sized steel ply panels, wedges, tube clamps (B-Type & G Type), push/pull props, brackets (structure), steel soldiers (structure), drop head, standard, prop tic, buard rail post (structure), coupler brace, cantilever frame, decking beam/Infill beam and doorway angles. (iv) Lifting Unit (Structure) (v) Bolts, tie bolts, anchor bolt assembly (fastener), anchor screw (fastener). (vi) Nuts (vii) Steel pins, tie wing nut (fastener). (viii) Steel washers, water plate (fastener). (ix) Special hammers (x) Extraction keys. (xi) Adjustable base jack (thread rod with nut and steel plate), adjustable fork head (threaded rod with nut and steel channel). | 7308.4000 3917.2390 3926.9099 7308.4000 7308.9000 7318.1590 7318.1690 7318.1900 7318.2200 8205.2000 8205.5900 8425.4900 | 5% ad val . | (i) If not manufactured locally and imported by the construction companies registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council; (ii) the system is to be procured from a well renowned international manufacturer; (iii) a certificate from one of the following International Pre-shipment Inspection Companies/Survey Firms to the extent that all the components/parts are to be used in the proprietary formwork system for construction of structures/buildings of more than 100 feet height, is produced, namely:- (a) Messers Lloyds of London; (b) Messers Quality Tech, LLC; (c) Messers ABS; (d) Messers Bureau Veritas; and (e) Messers SGS. (iv). The Pakistan Engineering Council shall certify that the imported Proprietary Formworks System conform to the requirement of the Company’s project.”.
