Government of Pakistan Central Board of Revenue . . . . . Islamabad, the 26th November 1998. NOTIFICATION (CUSTOMS STANDARD) 1312(I)/98. In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (C) of section 21 of the Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Central Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in its Notification No. S.R.O.1225(I)/97, dated the 10th December, 1997, namely:- In the aforesaid Notification, in condition (v),- (a) after the word “the sugar”, the words and figure” produced during crushing season for the year 1997-98 and also” shall be inserted; (b) the words, figure and comma “and shipped prior to the commencement of the crushing season for the year 1998-99,” shall be omitted; and (c) for the full stop at the end a colon shall be substituted and, thereafter, the following proviso shall be added, namely:- “Provided that the total quantity exported under condition (v) shall not exceed 400,000 M.Tons (four hundred thousand metric ton).” ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [C.No.3(196)Rebate/97) (Muhammad Afzal Bhatti) Chief (Duty Drawback System)
