NOTIFICATION
(CUSTOMS)
S.R.O.1098(I)/2007.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 181 of the
Customs Act, 1969 (IV of 1969), the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to direct that
the following further amendment shall be made in its Notification No.S.R.O.487(I)/2007,
dated the 9th June, 2007, namely:-
In the aforesaid Notification, in second proviso, for the full stop, at the end, a
colon shall be substituted and thereafter the following new proviso shall be added,
namely:-
“Provided further that the vehicles excluding buses, trucks and
chassis thereof, imported in violation of Import Policy Order, for the time
being in force, for which Import General Manifests, were filed up to the 31st
August, 2007, shall be released on payment of duty, taxes and thirty per
cent redemption fine, if cleared up to the 30th November, 2007.”
